Deck overview

This deck is a competitive mono-blue combo-control strategy led by Orvar, the All-Form. It leverages Orvar's ability to duplicate permanents whenever they are targeted by cheap instant or sorcery spells. By pairing Orvar with buyback spells like Whim of Volrath and cost reducers such as Sapphire Medallion or High Tide, the deck generates infinite mana and infinite permanent copies at instant speed. Once infinite mana is established, the deck tutors its library using copied Spellseeker triggers, bounces all opposing permanents with Venser, Shaper Savant, and forces opponents to mill out using Cephalid Coliseum or Ipnu Rivulet. A premier suite of free counterspells protects the winning line, while targeted stax pieces like Cursed Totem and Grafdigger's Cage disrupt opposing fast strategies.
