Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass deck built around Saruman, the White Hand, leveraging noncreature spells to grow an Army token. The primary game plan is to cast a dense suite of instants, sorceries, and enchantments (many of which also amass) to create an ever-larger Army, then finish via combat (with trample, double strike, or unblockable) or direct damage spells like Chandra's Ignition and Soul's Fire. The commander acts as a repeatable amass engine, but the deck has many alternative amass sources (Dreadhorde Invasion, Bothersome Noisemaker, Warg Rider, etc.) so it does not collapse without him. The secondary win condition involves pinging opponents with All Will Be One, The Great Goblin, and Guttersnipe triggers. The deck is a mid-range value engine that relies on casting multiple spells per turn to snowball an Army into a game-ending threat.
