Deck overview

This mono-white deck is an aggressive Equipment strategy commanded by Ekthi, Contaminator Priest. Ekthi fundamentally alters Equipment economics by granting every Equipment living weapon while providing a +1/+1 anthem to Phyrexians. This bypasses initial equip costs and turns every cheap artifact into an immediate board presence. Supported by acceleration like Sol Ring, Ancient Tomb, and Cid, Freeflier Pilot, the deck casts Ekthi on Turn 4 and follows up on Turn 5 with devastating payloads like Colossus Hammer, Nettlecyst, and Excalibur, Sword of Eden. Card flow engines like Puresteel Paladin, Sram, Senior Edificer, and Skullclamp ensure full hand replenishment. The deck pressures life totals rapidly, leveraging evasion from protection Swords, Shadowspear, and Akroma's Will to eliminate the table by Turn 7. While vulnerable to mass exile effects, its dense tutor suite, low-cost protection spells, and strong commander-independent Voltron backup lines give it remarkable consistency and resilience.
