Deck overview

This deck leverages Ekthi, Contaminator Priest to overcome the traditional card-disadvantage and tempo bottlenecks of Equipment strategies. By granting every Equipment living weapon, Ekthi ensures that every weapon deployed automatically produces its own 0/0 Phyrexian Germ token, which survives thanks to Ekthi's static +1/+1 anthem for Phyrexians. This bypasses both the initial equip cost and the need to draw separate creature bodies. Supported by a dense suite of artifact mana reducers, specialized Equipment tutors, and mono-white removal, the deck quickly transitions from early setup to presenting massive, evasive threats. Game-ending damage is driven by oversized armaments like Colossus Hammer and Kaldra Compleat, multiplied across combat steps through Halvar, God of Battle and Akroma's Will. While vulnerable to artifact sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck maintains high combat pressure and strong individual card quality.
