Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Golgari token and aristocrats engine commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The strategy leverages Chatterfang's replacement ability to convert any token creation into additional 1/1 green Squirrel tokens, which fuel both targeted removal and sacrificial resource loops. The primary win condition centers on combining Chatterfang with Pitiless Plunderer or Warren Soultrader, generating infinite mana, infinite creature tokens, and unlimited death triggers to eliminate opponents either through direct drain via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, or Mirkwood Bats, or by overrunning the board with Finale of Devastation. Dense low-cost ramp ensures Chatterfang and key token generators deploy ahead of curve, while persistent attrition pieces like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos systematically strip opposing boards of creatures. Backed by universal black tutors and robust green creature search, the deck demonstrates high consistency and resilient mid-game recovery.
