Deck overview

This Grixis artifact deck utilizes Dr. Eggman as an asymmetric hand-stripping engine and high-tempo mana cheat for colossal Constructs, Robots, and Vehicles. Powered by format-ceiling fast mana—including Mishra's Workshop, Ancient Tomb, Sol Ring, and zero-drop Moxen—the deck reliably deploys its commander on Turn 3. Each end step, opponents face a punishing villainous choice: discard cards or permit the free deployment of game-ending threats like Krang, Utrom Warlord, Cityscape Leveler, Reaver Titan, or Kuldotha Forgemaster. The deck transitions into critical onset on Turn 4, overwhelming the table through Cybermen Squadron granting myriad to massive artifact creatures, recurring board wipes via Portal to Phyrexia, or taking infinite extra turns with Panoptic Mirror and Time Warp. A dense suite of free countermagic (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat) and proactive split-second protection from Shadow the Hedgehog defends each critical execution window, ensuring a rapid table finish by Turn 5.
