Format: Commander

Commander: Empress Galina

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Empress Galina leads a mono-blue theft-control deck. The primary plan is to nullify the board with counterspells and bounces, then seize opponents' permanents through Galina, Mind Control effects, Agent of Treachery, Bribery, and Blatant Thievery. Leyline of Singularity makes every nonland permanent legendary, converting Galina into a repeatable answer to nearly any permanent. Secondary lines are the Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter loop and the Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake loop, feeding Memnarch, Galina, or Agent to steal the board. There is no double-faced or hidden commander; the deck is built around the Galina + Leyline interaction but contains enough standalone theft to function without it.
