Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet Spellslinger combo strategy built around Vivi Ornitier. Vivi puts a +1/+1 counter on itself and deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, while its {0} activated ability provides a burst of colored mana equal to its power once per turn. The primary plan pairs Vivi with damage-trigger draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi pings all three opponents on each cast, every spell draws three cards, fueling an explosive storm chain on Turn 4 or 5 that burns the table to zero life in a single turn.
