Silverquill Influence (Secrets of Strixhaven Commander Precon Decklist) by cvest100

Format: Commander

Commander: Killian, Decisive Mentor

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 33

Deck overview

This deck leverages Killian, Decisive Mentor to pilot an Orzhov enchantress strategy focused on combat manipulation, goad attrition, and political pillowfort control. Deploying Killian on Turn 3 sets up an operational engine on Turn 4, where every Aura cast taps down key blockers and goads opposing threats while drawing cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The deck neutralizes incoming aggression through Ghostly Prison, Eriette of the Charmed Apple, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer, forcing opponents to direct their largest creatures at one another. Meanwhile, token engines like Archon of Sun's Grace and Combat Calligrapher build an evasive board presence. Flexible exile removal such as Anguished Unmaking and Sheltered by Ghosts keeps opposing engines in check. Once the table has whittled down opposing life totals through forced combat, Killian finishes the survivors on Turn 8 with massive combat buffs from Angelic Destiny or Eldrazi Conscription alongside Eriette's passive end-step drain.
