Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos combo engine commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The primary game plan accelerates Ob Nixilis onto the battlefield on Turn 2 or 3 using explosive rituals and efficient mana rocks. Once on board, Ob Nixilis turns every 1-life loss from opponents—including their own fetchlands, painlands, and card draw punished by Orcish Bowmasters or Razorkin Needlehead—into +1/+1 counters and impulse card advantage. On Turn 4, the deck deploys a payoff like All Will Be One or Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute to execute an immediate infinite damage loop that finishes all three opponents at once. Robust backup plans like Dualcaster Mage copy chains and Underworld Breach lines ensure resilience against interaction, while efficient stack protection like Deflecting Swat and Hexing Squelcher reliably shields the winning turn.
