Deck overview

Skullbriar, the Walking Grave is the deck's central threat. The plan is to cast it early, protect or evade it, and compound +1/+1 counters through combat and cards such as Hardened Scales, Power Fist, Level Up, Kalonian Hydra, and Evolutionary Escalation. Skullbriar, the Walking Grave's haste and counter retention make removal less effective, while Canopy Cover, Rancor, Shizo, Death's Storehouse, and The Black Gate improve its ability to connect. The deck also has useful protection, removal, mana development, and conditional card draw. Its main limitation is strategic rather than thematic: it has no reliable compact route to kill all three opponents. Combat must be repeated, and the exact evasion, growth, and protection pieces are not consistently tutored. It is a functional casual-to-high-power Voltron deck, but not a cEDH construction or a deterministic combo deck.
