Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Beast tribal stompy strategy led by Slinza, the Spiked Stampede. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration and cost reducers to cast Slinza, the Spiked Stampede ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Slinza discounts Beast spells by {2}, distributes +1/+1 counters, and turns every high-power creature entry into targeted removal through its fight trigger. The deck maintains exceptional card flow using permanent-based draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Tribute to the World Tree, ensuring hands stay full of threats. It closes games by overrunning the board with massive trampling beaters such as Quartzwood Crasher, Elder Gargaroth, and Craterhoof Behemoth, supported by power doubling and stat boosts from Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth.
