Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal midrange strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The deck leverages its commander's Eminence ability to reduce the casting cost of all Dragon spells by {1} generic mana from the command zone. The early game focuses on deploying color fixing and ramp artifacts like Arcane Signet, Chromatic Lantern, and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman. During the midgame (Turns 4–5), the deck deploys high-impact Dragon engines such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. These engines multiply board presence and generate severe direct damage triggers whenever additional Dragons enter the battlefield. By Turn 6, the deck transitions into critical onset, deploying The Ur-Dragon or massive flyers that draw cards, cheat permanents into play, and deliver lethal aerial combat damage alongside direct burn. The deck wins on Turn 8 through overwhelming flying pressure.
