Kitsune ni Joms by Ampil

Format: Commander

Commander: Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant // Rune-Tail's Essence

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white lifegain deck turns high life totals and board protection into decisive win conditions. Starting at forty life immediately fulfills the requirement for Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant to flip into Rune-Tail's Essence, preventing all damage dealt to your creatures. This protection enables impenetrable damage redirection combos using Pariah or Palisade Giant, completely nullifying opposing combat steps. The deck converts continuous lifegain triggers into overwhelming board states through token generators like Crested Sunmare and massive counters from Archangel of Thune. Decisive victories occur either through direct upkeep win conditions like Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance or via the infinite damage combination of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista.
