Deck overview

This Boros deck is led by Dwalin, Weaponmaster and focuses on an aggressive Equipment strategy bolstered by Dwarf tribal synergies. Dwalin distributes hone counters to all controlled Equipment whenever he enters the battlefield or attacks, providing permanent attack buffs that grow each turn. The deck overcomes the traditional mana bottleneck of Equipment by running multiple equip-cost reducers and free attachment engines such as Puresteel Paladin, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Forge Anew, and Bruenor Battlehammer. Card velocity is sustained through combat triggers like Akiri, Fearless Voyager and cast triggers from Sram, Senior Edificer. Defensively, the list relies on efficient white protection spells such as Clever Concealment and Boros Charm to shield its assembled weapons from board wipes. It closes out games by combining massive power boosts, double strike, and evasion to eliminate opponents one by one.
