Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Midrange build commanded by Iroh, Grand Lotus. Its primary strategy revolves around developing an aggressive board of synergistic creatures and leveraging Iroh's ability to give non-Lesson instants and sorceries flashback, as well as flashback {1} to Lessons such as Accumulate Wisdom and Zuko's Exile. The deck establishes its operational base around Turn 6 and initiates critical combat onset on Turn 7, buffing its army with anthem and counter effects like Wilderland Scrounger and Thranduil, Sindarin Liege. Because it lacks fast mana and compact combo finishes, the deck closes the game through fair combat over three opponent response cycles by Turn 10. While its reactive package includes versatile counterspells and flash threats, the deck has zero proactive stax pieces and is vulnerable to mass board wipes during its multi-turn combat clock.
