Vren ☠️🌊 [TEST] by Carbonak

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir typal control deck leverages Vren, the Relentless to transform opposing creature removal into an overwhelming swarm of self-scaling Rat tokens. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Rats and mana acceleration early, followed by Vren and continuous creature removal. As opponents' creatures are exiled rather than sent to the graveyard, Vren produces Relentless Rats-style tokens during each end step. Mass sac effects like Grave Pact and asymmetric sweepers like Swarmyard Massacre rapidly build a massive board. Lethal damage is pushed through using evasion from Marrow-Gnawer or Cover of Darkness, burst stat boosts from Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, and life drain from Valley Rotcaller.
