Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos Group Slug and Combo engine commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy leverages dense, low-cost damage pingers such as Razorkin Needlehead, Orcish Bowmasters, Underworld Dreams, and Manabarbs that punish opponents whenever they draw cards, cast spells, or tap lands. Because each separate 1-life loss event triggers Ob Nixilis, the commander rapidly grows into a massive aerial threat while exiling large volumes of cards each table rotation. The resulting card advantage and mana acceleration fuel instant-kill loops, most notably through All Will Be One, which creates an infinite 1-damage loop with Ob Nixilis or The Red Terror. Supported by proactive tax pieces like Defense Grid and free protection spells, the deck consistently establishes an overwhelming engine by Turn 4 and closes the game on Turn 5.
