Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai midrange-aggro build centered on Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider. It leverages 'play from exile' (impulse draw) effects to continuously grow creatures with +1/+1 counters and trigger potent burn effects. The primary game plan deploys Gwen Stacy on Turn 2, develops mana and synergistic support on Turns 3 and 4, and transforms into Ghost-Spider on Turn 5. Ghost-Spider immediately attacks with flying, vigilance, and haste, using counters to exile additional cards and maintain momentum. Mid-game payoffs such as Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Thundering Raiju, and Spider-Man 2099 convert exile casting into direct damage, turning combat steps into table-wide pressure. A solid Jeskai removal suite keeps dangerous opposing threats at bay, while board protection creatures like Selfless Spirit and Spectacular Spider-Man safeguard the modified creature army as it closes the game around Turn 9.
