Commander: The Scarlet Witch

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Scarlet Witch is a cost-reduction engine for big instants and sorceries. You raise her power with cheap pump spells, auras, and equipment, then cast spells with mana value 4 or greater for X less where X is her power. The deck chains treasure makers and impulse draw such as Inspired Tinkering, Brass's Bounty, and Apex of Power into burn finishers like Crackle with Power, Banefire, and Comet Storm. Fiery Inscription turns every instant or sorcery into 2 damage to each opponent, while Chandra's Ignition and Nibelheim Aflame convert a pumped Witch into a board wipe that hits opponents. Livaan, Cultist of Tiamat is the hidden pump engine and Glamdring with Commander's Plate provides a Voltron backup.
