Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive, synergistic Hero typal deck led by Captain America, Team Leader. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating the commander onto the battlefield by Turn 2 or 3, then chaining Hero creature spells that immediately gain haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters. By attacking immediately upon entry, the deck triggers powerful combat card advantage engines such as Director Nick Fury, Araña, Heart of the Spider, and SP//dr, Piloted by Peni. The deck transitions into lethal damage around Turn 5 through team-wide combat buffs from Captain America, Wings of Freedom, War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, and Champions from Beyond, or via asymmetric board clearing using Raise the Palisade and Wave Goodbye. A premier protection suite featuring phasing spells and free countermagic keeps the board intact against opposing interaction.
