Deck overview

This Soul of Windgrace deck executes a classic Jund Midrange and Pox strategy tailored for multiplayer Commander. Its core objective is to grind opponents out of resources using symmetric discard and creature edicts, breaking parity through land recursion and graveyard value. Soul of Windgrace acts as both ramp and card selection, recovering lands discarded to fuel hand destruction or cycling. Meanwhile, the graveyard is populated with multiple card types, supercharging a formidable suite of Lhurgoyfs including Tarmogoyf, Barrowgoyf, Pyrogoyf, and the myriad-enabled Polygoyf. The interaction suite is dense with flexible, low-cost spot removal to cleanly answer opposing threats before hands are stripped bare. Lacking fast combo finishes, the deck relies on inevitable combat damage across multiple turns once the table is reduced to topdeck mode.
