Deck overview

This Chatterfang, Squirrel General deck is a high-synergy Golgari token swarm and aristocrats strategy designed to overwhelm the table through rapid board expansion and sacrifice loops. Powered by efficient early ramp, the deck quickly establishes Chatterfang to double all token production—turning Food, Clues, and Treasures into an army of 1/1 green Squirrels. Once assembled on Turn 4, the engine generates massive board presence and continuous creature control via Chatterfang's built-in removal. The deck pressures the table by Turn 5 using scaling anthem effects like Banner of Kinship, menace buffs from Camellia, the Seedmiser, or life-drain triggers from Mirkwood Bats and Bastion of Remembrance. It closes the game on Turn 6 with an unblockable or trample-fueled alpha strike via Craterhoof Behemoth or compact infinite loops such as Earthcraft with Squirrel Nest and Ivy Lane Denizen with Scurry Oak. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers, its dense redundancy and recursion offer resilient recovery.
