Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu combat-cheat strategy commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to deploy Kaalia on Turn 3, setting up a Turn 4 attack that cheats overwhelming Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck leverages devastating combat payoffs such as Master of Cruelties for sudden single-target player eliminations, Aurelia, the Warleader for additional combat steps, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to double damage output across the table. While the deck possesses explosive early-game pressure and a resilient defensive suite of hexproof, indestructible, and phasing effects, its engine remains heavily centered on Kaalia's survival. Disruption targeting Kaalia before she attacks forces the deck to pivot toward backup cheat enablers like Sneak Attack or hardcasting expensive threats on later turns.
