Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield commands a Boros Dwarf tribal and equipment deck designed to establish an enduring story and overrun the table with heavily buffed creatures. The deck curves low-cost Dwarves, legendary permanents, and mana rocks in the opening turns, reliably unlocking Storied by Turn 3 or 4 to provide board-wide ward {1}. This early protection shelters development while deploying compounding tribal payoffs like Door of Destinies, Coat of Arms, Flowering of the White Tree, and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. Once an army of Dwarves and artifact tokens is established, the deck launches decisive combat attacks on Turn 6, using Taunt from the Rampart to bypass opposing blockers or anthem stacking to overpower defenses. Instant-speed protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Galadriel's Dismissal safeguard the army against sweepers, allowing the deck to systematically eliminate all three opponents across consecutive combat phases.
