Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doran, Besieged by Time leads an Abzan toughness-matters deck that transforms high-toughness, low-power defenders and Treefolk into devastating attackers. Doran provides a cost-reduction engine and grants attacking creatures huge stat buffs equal to the difference between their power and toughness. The deck overwhelms opponents by breaking board parity with asymmetric board wipes such as Fell the Mighty and Expel the Interlopers, followed by massive combat swings. Alternate win conditions include burning the table with Jaws of Defeat, draining opponents using Betor, Kin to All and Tree of Perdition, or sacrificing massive creatures to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.
