Deck overview

Mendicant Core, Guidelight helms an Azorius artifact aggro-midrange deck designed to convert dense artifact deployment into overwhelming combat pressure. In the early turns, the deck accelerates mana using efficient rocks, cost reducers, and artifact lands to establish its commander alongside steady card engines like Losheel, Clockwork Scholar, and The One Ring. By connecting for combat damage, the deck progresses its speed track to reach Max Speed 4, unlocking the ability to duplicate every cast artifact spell for one mana. Critical onset typically arrives on Turn 6 through mass animation from Cyberdrive Awakener or continuous token scaling via Illustrious Wanderglyph, Master of Etherium, and Tempered Steel. The deck defends its board using blanket ward effects, Dawn's Truce, and efficient countermagic, while Organic Extinction provides a one-sided sweeper. Operating without infinite combos or fast-mana tutors, it closes games through consecutive high-damage combat steps by Turn 8.
