Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Paradox and Exile Midrange strategy commanded by Karolina Dean, Runaway. Karolina generates a massive five-mana burst ({W}{U}{B}{R}{G}) during each pre-combat main phase, which cannot be spent on spells cast directly from hand. To fully capitalize on this influx, the deck is packed with Foretell cards, Adventure spells, impulse-draw effects, and top-of-library enablers that route spellcasting through exile. By turning Karolina's mana restriction into an advantage, the deck deploys high-impact engines such as Prosper, Tome-Bound, Vega, the Watcher, and Stolen Strategy. Once established, it closes games through explosive burn payoffs like Keeper of Secrets, Passionate Archaeologist, and Flaming Tyrannosaurus, combined with wide aerial swings from Starnheim Unleashed and Nalfeshnee copies. Backed by universal instant-speed removal, the deck delivers high velocity, robust card flow, and resilient broad-board pressure.
