Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal deck spearheaded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's Eminence ability to discount heavy Dragon threats right from the start of the game. The deck's primary strategy revolves around establishing early green-based ramp and five-color fixing, deploying haste or damage enablers like Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest, and then dropping game-ending Dragon beaters such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, and Terror of the Peaks. While it lacks compact two-card infinite combos, its combat steps are lethal, frequently doubling damage or triggering overwhelming ETB burn triggers. The deck protects its substantial board commitments with mass blink and protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Ghostway, and it can rebuild collapsed boards in a single turn using powerful mass reanimation spells like Eerie Ultimatum and Patriarch's Bidding.
