King no more by Zan7

Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a -1/-1 counter control-reanimation deck. It uses wither, repeatable counter sources, and death triggers to lock out boards while The Reaper converts dying enemy creatures into threats. The primary finish is an infinite engine: Hapatra, Flourishing Defenses, Nest of Scarabs, Blowfly Infestation, and a sacrifice outlet/counter source (often Yawgmoth) generate endless tokens and death triggers, fueling Altar of Dementia or Ashnod's Altar. Secondary paths are classic reanimation plays (Animate Dead/Reanimate/Atzal) and commander theft. Hapatra is effectively the hidden engine, though not a hidden commander. The Reaper is not required to assemble the combo, but his two -1/-1 counters and triggered theft make him a powerful independent threat.
