Kefka, The Fool by user6829748

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a fast Grixis combo deck built around the front face of Kefka, Court Mage as a discard-and-draw engine; the flipped Ruler of Ruin face is a late-game payoff with evasion and life-loss card draw. The primary kill is Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, and a second independent channel uses Underworld Breach with Lion's Eye Diamond, Brain Freeze, and Grinding Station to storm-mill all opponents. Ad Nauseam and a dense tutor package find either line, while Birgi//Harnfel acts as a hidden storm enabler. Kefka is not required for any combo, but the front face greatly accelerates setup.
