Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Rakdos combo and storm strategy built around Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The primary game plan accelerates Ob Nixilis into play on Turn 2 or 3 alongside low-cost pingers or draw-punishers such as Orcish Bowmasters and Coruscation Mage. Whenever an opponent loses exactly 1 life, Ob Nixilis grows and impulse-exiles a card, turning incidental damage into continuous card velocity. The deck chains rituals and impulse draws to assemble a deterministic infinite damage loop using Agatha's Soul Cauldron and Walking Ballista. By giving Ob Nixilis the ability to remove a +1/+1 counter to ping an opponent, the deck creates a self-sustaining loop that deals lethal damage to all opponents in a single turn. Defensively, the list runs an extensive suite of low-cost redirection spells, free removal, and anti-countermagic to protect its winning window.
