Deck overview

This is an Azorius token-generation and card-advantage deck helmed by Bard, King of Dale, whose two abilities define the entire game plan: he doubles every draw you would make (except the first draw-step draw) and doubles every token you would create. The deck leans hard into the "recruit" mechanic - drawing a card, discarding a card, and making a 1/1 Soldier token - alongside populate, investigate, and a dense suite of repeatable token engines (Talrand, Sky Summoner, Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, Skystrike Officer, Elspeth, Storm Slayer). Bard turns each of these into twice the value, letting the deck bury opponents in cards and bodies simultaneously. The primary win condition is a wide, anthem-buffed combat swing powered by Honor of the Pure, Dictate of Heliod, and Champions from Beyond's Full Party trigger. There are no infinite combos; this is a pure value-and-inevitability deck that wins through overwhelming board presence.
