I Do What I Want by Lexidan

Format: Commander

Commander: Myrel, Shield of Argive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around Myrel, Shield of Argive, this is a mono-white Soldier token deck that turns combat into an engine and then a one-shot kill. Myrel both protects the alpha strike (opponents can't cast spells or activate relevant abilities on your turn) and makes exponential Soldier tokens. The main road is to reach critical mass, multiply it with Anointed Procession, Mondrak, or Ojer Taq, then finish with Starlight Spectacular, Odric, or a full-team swing. Secondary lines are big token sorceries (Finale of Glory, Decree of Justice, Deploy to the Front) and planeswalker emblems. Ojer Taq and Rune-Tail's Essence act as high-value build-around supports, but there is no true hidden commander. The deck is a midrange battlecruiser, not a combo deck.
