Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Izzet spellslinger aggro build piloted by Bria, Riptide Rogue. The strategy focuses on curving out with efficient, low-cost creatures and spellcraft payoffs such as Stormcatch Mentor, Coruscation Mage, and Young Pyromancer during the first three turns. Once Bria enters on Turn 4, every noncreature spell grants your entire team prowess while rendering key attackers completely unblockable. On Turns 5 and 6, chaining low-mana cantrips, burn spells, and rituals rapidly inflates the board's power, pushes lethal unblockable combat damage, and triggers massive incidental burn through cards like Guttersnipe and Vivi Ornitier. The list features robust card selection and efficient interaction—including Fierce Guardianship, Mana Drain, and Cyclonic Rift—to protect its explosive turns and remove opposing threats.
