Deck overview

This five-color deck pairs Cecily, Haunted Mage and Othelm, Sigardian Outcast to execute a forced-search and shuffle punishment strategy with a Clue artifact subtheme. Instead of racing with fast mana or infinite combos, the list turns standard opponent actions like fetching and tutoring into lethal liabilities. Permanents such as Ob Nixilis, Unshackled, River Song, and Psychogenic Probe punish library searches and shuffles, while land-destruction spells like Field of Ruin, Ghost Quarter, and From the Ashes compel opponents to search their libraries. In parallel, investigators like Morska, Undersea Sleuth, Tireless Tracker, and Wernog, Rider's Chaplain supply steady card draw and artifact tokens. These tokens fuel game-ending damage through Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, or an overloaded Rise and Shine. The deck plays as an interactive control-attrition build that systematically taxes opposing mana bases and life totals.
