Deck overview

This is a Food/lifegain token deck centered on the Frodo/Sam partner pair. Sam creates a Food every combat and makes Food activations cheap; Frodo converts early life gain into Ring Tempts and card draw. The deck's hidden engine is the Pippin/Merry partner pair, which tutors for each other and turns Foods into Soldier tokens and a +3/+3 haste overrun. Secondary paths include a large Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbit go-wide turn, Sanguine Bond draining off life gain, and Frodo, Sauron's Bane as a ring-kill alternate win. Neither commander is double-faced; Sam enables the engine while Frodo is the attacker and Tempt payoff.
