Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu reanimator and aristocrats build centered on Terra, Herald of Hope. It leverages self-mill and targeted graveyard tutors to cheat powerful creatures into play while preparing a game-ending persist combo. The primary win condition combines Murderous Redcap, Celes, Rune Knight, and a sacrifice outlet like Altar of Dementia or Ashnod's Altar. Whenever Redcap persists, Celes distributes a +1/+1 counter that cancels out the persist -1/-1 counter, allowing infinite sacrifice loops that deal lethal damage to each opponent. Supported by flexible spot removal, one-sided board wipes like Ruinous Ultimatum, and high-resilience reanimation spells, the deck consistently threatens decisive wins on Turn 5.
