Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos treasure-value deck built around Smaug, Wicked Worm. The commander converts Treasure-spent spells into cantrips and can produce a burst of Treasures, accelerating the deck into dragon beatdown or token-drain finishes. The primary plan is to build a token economy, chain draw spells off Treasure mana, and finish with big dragon attacks plus Isengard Unleashed. Secondary paths include draining via Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, and pingers, or tutoring Smaug the Magnificent as a hidden commander. The deck is midrange: it has no infinite combos, but its strong redundancy in Treasure production and flexible removal suite lets it grind into a large combat or burn turn.
