Deck overview

The Great Goblin commands a Rakdos aggressive aristocrats deck that bridges Goblin and Orc tribal mechanics with the Amass keyword. The strategy centers on deploying resilient counter generators like March from the Black Gate and Dreadhorde Invasion to steadily grow an Army token while triggering the commander ability to deal two damage to opponents whenever counters are placed. As Goblin and Orc tokens are sacrificed to outlets such as Goblin Bombardment, Skirk Prospector, and Pashalik Mons, the commander exiles fresh cards to sustain an aggressive impulse engine. The deck transitions into the mid-game by swarming the board with Krenko, Mob Boss and Siege-Gang Commander, granting evasion and trample through Orcish Siegemaster and Great Ugly-Looking Goblin. Without relying on infinite combos, it steadily drains opposing life totals through direct burn and lethal combat overruns led by Assault on Osgiliath.
