Deck overview

This deck is a fast, proactive mono-black reanimator shell centered on assembling a lethal two-card combo or overwhelming the board with devastating threats. It leverages explosive fast mana like Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, and Chrome Mox to accelerate its curve, pairing cheap tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive with efficient reanimation spells such as Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Victimize. The primary win condition is the infinite damage loop between Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion, which closes the game immediately on Turn 4. If the combo pieces are delayed or targeted, the deck effortlessly pivots into an oppressive attrition plan, cheating massive value engines like Archon of Cruelty, Portal to Phyrexia, and Sheoldred, Whispering One into play. Supported by card draw powerhouses Necropotence and The One Ring, the deck maintains relentless momentum, recovering swiftly from disruption through heavy graveyard redundancy.
