Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Aristocrats-Enchantress engine piloted by Myrkul, Lord of Bones. The strategy accelerates through early mana dorks and rocks to deploy Myrkul ahead of curve on Turn 5. Once Myrkul is active, dying nontoken creatures return as permanent noncreature enchantments, effectively insulating critical utility effects from creature removal. By converting hate pieces, token generators, and constellation payoffs—such as Archon of Sun's Grace, Grim Guardian, Doomwake Giant, and Thoughtrender Lamia—into permanent enchantments, the deck builds an insurmountable resource and board advantage. Opponents face severe hand and creature attrition while wide swarms of Pegasus and Skeleton tokens close out the game through combat damage and direct life drain by Turn 8. Supported by robust removal options like Farewell and protection from Sylvan Safekeeper and Jennifer Walters // The Sensational She-Hulk, the deck thrives on resilient midrange grinding.
