Dancing Mad by user5632880

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a Grixis discard-and-draw engine. His attack forces all players to discard a card, then draws cards based on the card types discarded, feeding Magmakin Artillerist and Glint-Horn Buccaneer, which punish those discards. The deck's primary finish is the deterministic Niv-Mizzet, Parun plus Curiosity loop, started with any instant/sorcery. Fire Lord Azula acts as a secondary spell-copy engine with Storm-Kiln Artist and Frantic Search, generating Treasure and digging toward the combo. The back face, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, is a situational finisher, not the deck's foundation. There is no true hidden commander, though Niv-Mizzet and Azula serve as alternate threat engines.
