Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Temur token swarm and burn deck commanded by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary game plan accelerates mana on early turns to deploy Xyris by turn 4, followed immediately by symmetrical wheel spells like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Wheel of Misfortune. Because Xyris triggers whenever opponents draw cards outside their draw step, each wheel instantly floods the board with 21 1/1 Snake tokens. The deck converts this sudden token burst into immediate table-wide damage using enter-the-battlefield burn pieces such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Witty Roastmaster, or closes out the game on the following turn through massive combat anthems like Shared Animosity, Coat of Arms, and Beastmaster Ascension. Interaction consists of efficient countermagic and flexible removal to protect key turns. While the deck possesses explosive burst potential, it relies on natural card flow rather than tutors and risks handing opponents fresh answers when resolving wheels.
