Deck overview

This Azorius midrange deck commands Denzilore Fatehold to transform scry and surveil actions into widespread +1/+1 counters. By pairing low-cost utility creatures and repeatable scry engines with Jace planeswalker synergy, the deck smoothly filters draws while rapidly compounding board presence. Cards like Cryptic Annelid provide explosive stat boosts by triggering Denzilore three times in a single turn, while counter doublers like Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion and Yoshimaru, Beloved Companion accelerate creature growth to lethal proportions. Defensive cornerstones like Propaganda and Crystal Barricade buy time against aggressive strategies. To close games, the deck avoids symmetric combat stalls by breaking parity with one-sided board wipes like Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict, or by granting total evasion via Herald of Secret Streams. This results in a resilient, combat-focused strategy that methodically crushes the table under enormous flying and unblockable threats.
