Deck overview

This deck is a Temur creature-aggro deck commanded by Animar, Soul of Elements. The primary strategy centers on landing Animar on Turn 3, accumulating +1/+1 counters through cheap creature drops, and leveraging heavy generic mana cost reductions to deploy game-ending beaters well ahead of curve. Card draw engines keyed to high power, such as Garruk's Uprising and Temur Ascendancy, maintain card advantage as the deck chains creature casts. Combat lethality peaks between Turns 6 and 8, supported by trample granters, haste enablers, and stat multipliers like Unnatural Growth and Surrak and Goreclaw. While Animar possesses natural protection against white and black removal, the deck remains vulnerable to mass bounce spells and board sweepers, relying on Heroic Intervention for defensive coverage.
