Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Treefolk tribal engine commanded by Fangorn, Tree Shepherd. The primary strategy focuses on deploying early ramp and low-cost Treefolk, establishing a resilient board of high-toughness creatures, and casting Fangorn to turn combat into a massive mana engine. Because Fangorn grants all Treefolk vigilance and converts attacking Treefolk into persistent green mana that does not empty as steps and phases end, the deck seamlessly transitions from attacking to casting gigantic post-combat spells. Finishers like Overwhelming Stampede, Last March of the Ents, and Verdeloth the Ancient capitalize on high board toughness to overwhelm opponents in combat. The deck features strong redundancy in scaling beaters and potent asymmetric artifact and enchantment sweepers, though it remains vulnerable to creature sweepers and targeted removal due to limited instant-speed protection and a lack of creature removal for non-flying threats.
