This Orzhov deck helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary is a high-tutor-density stax/reanimator combo build. The primary game plan is to deploy early stax pieces (Archon of Emeria, Drannith Magistrate, Deafening Silence) to slow opponents, then assemble a reanimation-based infinite loop-most commonly Leonin Relic-Warder + Animate Dead/Necromancy with a drain effect like The Meathook Massacre or Susurian Voidborn-to win on the spot. Squall provides a secondary value engine: attacking alone gives double strike, and on combat damage he recurs any permanent with mana value 3 or less, retrieving stax pieces or combo parts. The deck's incredibly low curve (2.03) and dense tutor suite (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, Enlightened Tutor, Buried Alive, etc.) ensure it finds its combo pieces quickly, while a robust interaction package protects the winning turn. The commander is not essential to the combo lines, making the deck resilient to repeated removal.
