Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai Elf-ball combo deck that wins by generating infinite mana from Elf dorks and converting it to a win. The main engine pairs Staff of Domination or Umbral Mantle with any Elf tapping for five or more - Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, Selvala, Wirewood Channeler, Viridian Joiner, Topiary Lecturer, Bloom Tender or Deathbloom Ritualist - or Freed from the Real on Incubation Druid, Bloom Tender or Selvala. Thranduil provides card advantage and redundancy by copying all Elf activated abilities from the graveyard and drawing when legendary Elves enter. Necrotic Ooze is the hidden commander with the same ability from any graveyard. Backup wins use Ezuri or Tyvar the Pummeler overruns without infinite mana.
