Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying efficient Zombie bodies and recursion engines in the early turns, casting Gisa on Turn 5, and untapping on Turn 6 to convert high-power creatures into wide armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck amplifies these tokens using classic tribal lords like Death Baron, Undead Warchief, and Lord of the Accursed, or converts them into table-wide life loss through aristocrat payoffs such as Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Card advantage is maintained through engines like Cryptbreaker, Undead Augur, and Graveborn Muse. While the deck possesses strong resilience via graveyard recursion and backup token engines like Grave Titan, it lacks fast mana, hard tutors, and countermagic, making it reliant on fair combat steps and vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
